Men’s Lacrosse Falls in Home Finale

Arlington, Va. – Marymount University's men's lacrosse team suffered a rare home defeat with a 12-6 loss to Capital Athletic Conference foe Frostburg State in the 2013 home finale on Saturday. The Saints fall to 7-5 overall and 0-4 in league play.

Jack Burke led the Saints with four points on the day, notching a pair of goals to go with two assists. Garrett Nealon added two goals while Nico Burns had a goal and an assist. Vince Lodato also scored for the Blue and White.

Ian Gordon went 12-for-19 on faceoffs and led the Saints with five ground balls. Nick Gruber and Connor Kellogg both added three.

Sam Dupont paced the MU defense with three caused turnovers.

Derek DiGiovanni (7-5) collected 15 saves in goal.

Ryan Serio led Frostburg (9-5, 1-3 CAC) with six goals.

Marymount returns to action on Wednesday on the road at CAC foe Wesley.
