Men’s Lacrosse Falls to #3 Salisbury

Arlington, Va. – Marymount University's men's lacrosse team fell 15-3 to visiting third-ranked Salisbury in Capital Athletic Conference action on Wednesday evening.  The Saints drop to 8-6 overall and 1-5 in league play.

Garrett Nealon led the Saints with a goal and an assists while Connor Kellogg and Matt Justice each added goals.  Nico Burns chipped in a lone assists for the Blue and White as well.

Vince Lodato led Marymount with six ground balls while going 10-for-19 from the faceoff 'X'.  Chris Madison added five ground balls while Garrett Satterwhite and Tyler DaSilva both chipped in three.

Satterwhite and Austin Miller each had two caused turnovers.

In goal, Derek DiGiovanni hauled in nine saves in three quarters of work while Jeremy Larkin added another four in the final period.

Rhett DePol led Salisbury (14-1, 5-1 CAC) with five goals and four assists.

Marymount returns to action on Saturday as it closes out the regular season at home against CAC rival Mary Washington.  Game time is set for 1 p.m. and fans can follow the action online at www.MarymountSaints.com.
