Men’s Volleyball Falls in CVC East Opener

Greenville, Pa. – Marymount University's men's volleyball team dropped its Continental Volleyball Conference East Division opener 3-0 (25-21, 25-13, 27-25) on the road at Thiel on Friday night.  The Saints fall to 1-6 overall and 0-1 in CVC East play.

Bryce Ernsberger led the Saints with a match-high 13 kills to go with 14 digs for his first career double-double.  Tomasz Ksiazkiewicz added nine kills in the loss.

Bronson Summers-Torres paced Marymount's offense with a match-best 29 assists.  Matt Malloy led MU with a pair of service aces and four total blocks.

Michael Whitelock and Evan Proksell led Thiel (6-6) with eight kills each.

Marymount returns to action on Saturday with a tri-match at Juniata.  The Saints take on the third-ranked host Eagles before battling Hilbert in non-conference play.
