Women’s Lacrosse Falls at #2 Salisbury

Salisbury, Md. – Marymount University's women's lacrosse team fell 21-2 on the road at second-ranked Salisbury in Capital Athletic Conference action on Wednesday afternoon. The Saints drop to 5-4 overall and 1-2 in league play.

Taylor Johnson led the Saints with both goals while Megan McGuirk added an assist.

Chelsea Ritter and McGuirk both recorded a pair of caused turnovers while goalkeeper Kiki Niebuhr led all Saints with five ground balls.

Niebuhr added 12 saves in between the pipes in the loss.

Katie Bollhorst paced Salisbury (9-0, 2-0 CAC) with four goals.

Marymount returns to action on Saturday as it travels to face Frostburg State in CAC play.
