Women’s Lacrosse Wins Second Straight

Virginia Beach, Va. – Marymount University's women's lacrosse team closed out non-conference play with a 13-8 victory over Virginia Wesleyan on Sunday afternoon.  The Saints improve to 7-4 overall on the season.

With the win, the Saints posted the most wins in a single season since 2008.

Megan McGuirk led the Saints with four goals and two assists while Taylor Johnson and Stephanie Keane both chipped in three goals for hat tricks.

Molly Maher added a pair of goals and an assist while Jacki Belker chimed in with another goal.  Johnson and Natalie Tinkham both added assists in the victory.

Marymount returns to action on Wednesday as it travels to face Wesley in CAC competition.
