BEHIND THE MOMENT: 1988 Women's Soccer "Dream Season"

Jun 11, 2020

In the first installment of Marymount Behind The Moment, we welcome back some of the 1988 Women's Soccer team... a season that still ranks in NCAA history for most-improved win-loss record, making a 9.5 game improvement. The Saints finished 14-2-1 in what was deemed the "Dream Season" to eventually earn the program's first-ever national ranking. In 2018, the squad became the first team to ever be inducted into the Marymount Athletic Hall of Fame. Joining our interview to reminisce on more about the 1988 season is former Head Coach Bob Meden, captains from that season Cindy (Teel) Harris and Carla Vesper, and sophomore defender from that season Keli (Hannan) Denham.
