Women's Track, Both Tennis Teams Earn Weekly Honors

The Saints nabbed three more Atlantic East Conference weekly awards on Tuesday, totaling five for the week. Deziree Conklin, Michael Miller, and Caroline Haymans each picked up the honor in their respective sport.

Conklin earned the women's track athlete of the week award for the second time in a row, notching another record-breaking performance at the Bison Outdoor Classic. In the 110-meter hurdles, Conklin competed well against a strong field of Division I and II opponents. Finishing with a time of 15.21, the freshman broke her school record yet again to continue her strong freshman campaign.

The tennis program swept the weekly awards, with their top competitors earning both accolades.

Michael Miller won the award for the men after a strong showing against Cabrini to give the Saints their fourth-straight conference victory. The freshman took a decisive win in the #1 singles on the day, while also grabbing a clean sweep in the #1 doubles with teammate Dorian Guiot.

This is the second weekly award of the season for Miller.

On the women's side, Carline Haymans notched the weekly award after helping Marymount earn their second-straight conference win.

Haymans earned a clean win 6-0, 6-0 in the #1 singles matchup and took the doubles matchup in a battle at the #1 spot, 8-5, alongside teammate Melody Salguero.

The award is the second of the season for Haymans, as well as the second in a row for the junior.
