Mission Statement
The mission of the Marymount University Sports Performance program is to provide quality professional healthcare to intercollegiate student athletes, and active individuals. We are dedicated to upholding the domains of athletic training and professional standards set forth and maintained by the National Athletic Trainers’ Association (NATA), the Board of Certification (BOC), and the Commonwealth of Virginia’s Department of Health Professions. The Sports Medicine Department is responsible in the prevention, evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation of athletic injuries.
Location
The Athletic Training room can be found on Marymount's main campus in the Rose Bente' Lee Center. Located on the lower level in Room 259, the athletic training room can be contacted via phone at (703) 284-1672 or fax at (703) 527-3684.

2022-23 Pre-Participation Paperwork
Prior to participation in any team workout, tryout, practice or competition, all student-athletes must complete all components of the medical clearance process through the Sports Medicine department. This document contains all necessary forms and instructions.
