Lemery Picks Up All-Region Accolades

Lemery Picks Up All-Region Accolades

ALEXANDRIA, Va. - Senior shortstop Alex Lemery put two more awards into his showcase on Tuesday and Wednesday, picking up First-Team All-Region 5 honors from and Third-Team All-Region 5 from ABCA/Rawlings.

The accolades come on the heel of another impressive season from the former Atlantic East Player of the Year, who nabbed First-Team All Conference for the second year in a row just weeks ago.

Lemery was strong at the plate throughout the season, hitting for a .366 average while posting an on-base percentage of .463. On his way to a .590 slugging percentage, the Fairfax, Va. native knocked seven home runs, 11 doubles, and two triples. A main run-producer for the Saints, Lemery led the team with 45 RBI.

Lemery is part of the winningest class in program history for the Saints, helping the team to an Atlantic East title along the way. While Marymount fell short in the championship at the end of the 2022 season, they broke the single-season win record with a mark of 29 in the win column.
