Men’s Lacrosse Places Four on All-Conference Teams; Radovic Wins Elite 20 Award

LANCASTER, Pa. – After making it to the conference championship for the first time in program history, Marymount men's lacrosse placed four Saints on the All-Conference teams announced by the Atlantic East on Wednesday.

Additionally, Sebastian Radovic won the Elite 20 Award for holding the highest GPA of all student-athletes participating in the Atlantic East Championship for men's lacrosse.

Evan Motta (defense) and Collin DeBruyn (short stick) both earned spots on First Team All-Conference for their performance this season. Clark Akers (attack) and Hunter Ralston (midfield) were named Second Team All-Conference.

Motta picked up 28 groundballs and caused 12 turnovers this season. He also added a goal and assist on the offensive end. DeBruyn picked up 15 groundballs and caused four turnovers this season. Motta and DeBruyn are the first Saints to be named First Team All-Atlantic East.

Akers continued to rewrite the Marymount men's lacrosse record books this season and finished the 2022 campaign with 45 goals and 24 assists for a total of 69 points. He finished his career as the program's all-time leader in points (220), goals (148), and assists (72). Ralston scored 27 goals and added eight assists from his midfield position to earn his first all-conference selection.

Radovic, a health sciences (pre-med) major, earned the inaugural Atlantic East Elite 20 Award for men's lacrosse. On the field, the junior saw action in 18 games and finished with 10 goals and six assists.
