Men's Soccer Picked 2nd in Atlantic East Preseason Poll

LANCASTER, Pa. - After an appearance in the Atlantic East semifinals a season ago, Marymount men's soccer was selected to finish second in the 2022 Atlantic East Conference Men's Soccer Preseason Poll, as voted upon by the conference's head coaches. 

Cabrini sits atop the poll, as the reigning conference champions tallied 35 points in the poll as well as 5 first-place votes. The 2021 champions defeated Neumann 4-0 in the conference title match.

Marymount landed second in the poll with 27 points and a first-place vote. Tied for third, and only one point behind the Saints, were Neumann University and Immaculata University. The Knights earned the final first-place vote.

Marywood University tallied 14 points to land at fifth while Centenary University and Gwynedd Mercy University rounded out the poll with 13 points and 6 points, respectively. 

The Saints are set to open the 2022 season at Long Bridge Park on Thursday, Sept. 1 at 3 PM against Waynesburg.
