Women’s Golf Competes at NCAA Championships

HOUSTON – For the second straight season, Marymount women's golf qualified for the NCAA Division III national championships and this year's squad competed all week at Bay Oaks Country Club.

HOW IT HAPPENED

  • The Saints finished the 2022 tournament in 28th place out of 29 and missed the cut to 15 teams for the final round tomorrow.
  • This year's squad was led by Isabel Trojillo, who shot two rounds of 81 before finishing the tournament with an 85 this afternoon.
  • Centennial Conference champion Hunter Gillis shot all three rounds in the 80s to finish as MU's number two golfer this week.
  • Peyton Kraras and Hannah Lampe shot their best rounds for the final round of the season. Kraras shot an 89 while Lampe carded a 99 on Thursday.
