Elizondo earns two top-15 finishes in second day of ECAC championships

ANNAPOLIS, Md. – The Marymount University women's swimming team continued the Eastern College Athletic Conference championships on Saturday.

Senior Hayley Elizondo qualified for the finals in the 100-yard breaststroke and the 400-yard individual medley, finishing in the top 15 for both. She placed 13th in the 400 IM, with a time of 4:37.71, before finishing 15th in the 100 breaststroke in 1:06.31.

Elizondo, also, teamed with seniors Isabel Grimm and Jessie Bricker and freshman Delaney Carey in the 200-yard medley relay, reaching the finals and finishing 16th with a time of 1:55.35.

Marymount will finish out the ECAC championships on Sunday, March 1, with the preliminaries set for 9 a.m.
