Volleyball Picks Up Two Wins at Marywood Tri-Match

SCRANTON, Pa. – Marymount University women's volleyball picked up two strong wins over Marywood and Rutgers-Camden on Saturday afternoon. The Saints improved their conference record to 5-0 after their win against Marywood.


  • Myia Jeter hit .438 with eight kills and led the Saints in blocks with four, in the win over the Pacers.

  • Elissa Munsterman added two more matches with double digit kills after she registered 17 against the Scarlet Raptors and a .632 attack percentage against Marywood.

  • In the game against York, Maya Harris led the Saints by hitting .500 with 10 kills. 

  • Alexis Franklin led both games in assists with a total of 68, while Natalie Garbalosa led in digs with 29.


  • The Saints made quick work of the game against the Pacers, taking it in three sets.

  • The Blue and White took the first set 25-10. The Paces had a strong start in the second set but the Saints prevailed with a six-point lead in the end.

  • Marymount continued the momentum and took the final set in a decisive 25-7.

  • The Scarlet Raptors took the lead early and took the first set with a narrow lead after the Saints were unable to overcome the Raptors offense.

  • Marymount responded in force and took the next three sets in stride with a nine or ten point lead in each.


  • Marymount will travel to Salisbury University on Tuesday, October 18th, for a 7:00 pm game.
