Since joining the Atlantic East in 2018, the Saints have made it to the conference championship three straight times, winning back-to-back titles in 2018 and 2019.

Marymount qualified for its second straight NCAA Tournament in 2019 and won its first-ever national tournament match while advancing all the way to the regional finals. The 2018 NCAA Tournament marked the first appearance in program history.

Over her career with the Saints, Wilson has served as the CAC and Atlantic East Women’s Volleyball Chairperson and represented both conferences on numerous NCAA and AVCA committees. She has completed CAP 1, CAP 2, IMPACT, SafesportCPR certifications and is a member of the NCAA Women's Coaching Alliance Class #44.

To continue to grow the game, Wilson has been active in travel programs serving youth in the Washington, D.C. area since 2008. She has coached U-12 thru U-18 teams and had four teams qualify for USA Volleyball Nationals.

In 2020, she became the Washington, D.C. Director for East Coast Power Volleyball. This partnership allows more competitive volleyball opportunities for DC area U12-18 players, while exposing Marymount's program to higher-quality prospective student-athletes across the country, particularly in the Mid-Atlantic region.

Wilson began her volleyball career as a high school player in San Diego, Calif. She was named the 2A California Interscholastic Federation Player of the Year in 1985 while at La Jolla High School. She continued playing at NCAA D-I William & Mary where she was a four-year starting middle hitter and two-time team captain. She was an all-conference selection as a senior. She ended her playing career with a 101-29 record and received her B.A. in Religion in 1989.

Wilson and her husband, Donald, live in Arlington and have three grown children. Carolanne attended Marymount for two years and finished at Virginia Commonwealth University and works as a real estate agent in Arlington. Their son Riley played football at William and Mary and graduated in 2019. He earned his Masters in Forensic and Legal Psychology at Marymount, and now is a campaign writer for HSP Direct. Mary Grace attends Loyola University of Maryland and was a member of the volleyball team.
